Chef Horace Spence Culinary wellness classes

Join Chef Horace to learn about healthy and nutritious cooking techniques and ingredients to promote overall health and wellness.

We will be focusing on the use of whole, unprocessed ingredients in cooking, such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. Plant-based ingredients, such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes, which are nutrient-dense and low in unhealthy fats. And also  cooking methods that retain the nutrients in food, such as steaming, grilling, and roasting, rather than methods that destroy nutrients, such as deep-frying.
